Lees Seymour elected onto FGLT Board

Lees Seymour (Tainui Kawhia Incorporated), has been elected unopposed to sit on the Forest Growers Levy Trust Board, as one of four in the Forest entities with more than 1,000 ha net stocked area category.

Ngā Pou a Tāne enthusiastically supported this nomination as well as the nomination of Peter Davies-Colley (NZ Farm Forest Association) as one of two in the Forest entities with less than 1,000 ha net stocked area category.

As at 7 November 2025 the FGLT Board members are: Stephen Franks (Independent Chair), Philip Taylor (Port Blakely - more than 1,000ha), Dave Cormack (Wenita - more than 1,000ha), Bert Hughes (Forest Enterprises Growth - less than 1,000ha), and newly elected Chris Barnes (Manu Life - more than 1,000ha), Lees Seymour and Peter Davies-Colley.
